Aikido of Northern Virginia invites you to join Mike Lasky Sensei at Camp Round meadow to learn a set of solo training practices, so that significant development of basic essential skills can occur away from the dojo as “homework”, allowing for a more effective use of instruction time in the dojo to teach how these skills are used.

Lasky Sensei will lead participants through a small set of practices drawn from the Chinese systems of Hsingi and Pakua. The application and value of refining these specific skills will be illustrated through both hands-on and paired weapons practice.

What to Bring:  Please bring clothes suitable for training outdoors (Gi is not needed) Also bring Bokken or Jo if you have them. We will bring extra weapons for those who do not own them.

Food and Lodging:  Camp Round Meadow offers dormitory style lodging with indoor plumbing. Meals will be included for a modest fee.

More details will be sent to registrants prior to the event.
