The Annual testing seminar has been cancelled. Please stay in touch. We will try for an event the end of January.
Train always. Be safe.
John Messores Sensei (ASU 7thDan) will be instructing the seminar that will include testing.
The purpose of this event is not to create just another seminar, but instead to appropriately craft the first event of its kind dedicated to providing a consistent venue for ASU students from across the US to test in front of a qualified panel of instructors, and to foster inter-dojo friendships through the bonds forged from testing together.
While it is preferable to test senior ranks in ones home dojo in order to include dojo training partners, friends, family and recommending instructors, Florida has gathered its ASU Dojos into an extended family structure. This has become a reunion celebration of sorts along with a confirmation affirmation of commonly held expectations and standards.
We are making this event open to any and all ASU testing candidates who are qualified and recommended
It is intended that qualified candidates will have the opportunity to perform their test in front of a large and significant board made up of the recommending instructors, along with senior ASU Sensei of 5th, 6th and 7th Dan ranking.
